CivicForumPac wants to congratulate Bill Stanley (R) and Greg Habeeb (R) on their victories in Virginia's special elections yesterday. Stanley defeated Henry Davis (D) in the race to fill Congressman-elect Robert Hurt's (R) state Senate seat. Stanley garnered 61% of the vote to defeat Davis. Greg Habeeb defeated Ginger Mumpower (D) in the race to fill Congressman-elect Morgan Griffith's (R) House seat in Virginia's 8th district. Habeeb received 63% of the vote to defeat Mumpower.
